Some thoughts on the importance of Tantric Massage for women.

Tantric Massage can have an enormous impact. We’d like to share some of what we’ve learned over the years of sharing this experience.

First, let’s look at who has these experiences. Women who are single, women who are in relationship, women whose partner’s know they’re having the experience and women whose partner’s don’t, women who are comfortable with their bodies, women who have body issues, women who are sexually adventurous, women who are conservative, women who have orgasms, women who don’t, women who are curious, women who are lonely, women who are fulfilled and women who are not, women over 60…

This is always an important experience.

Of learning, of healing, of growth, of relaxation, of release, of pleasure, of spirituality, of connection, of love, of receiving…

Of receiving.

This is such an important aspect of the massage.

Of receiving.

With no conditions.

With no expectations.

You see, there is deep conditioning in many women that if someone does something sexual, gives pleasure, it has to be reciprocated.

And very often, pleasure is given with the expectation that something will be given in return.

This is a space for women simply to receive.

What this does is it creates safety.

The boundaries of the experience are clear.

And as soon as she knows this, knows that the experience is totally about her, she can let go into the feelings, the sensations, the pleasure…

This is such a simple concept, but as we say so often, the simplest has the greatest power.

We can’t emphasize this enough. You often actually see the body relax when this is explained, a release of tension and the excitement that goes with it.

This is just for me!

The second aspect of safety in a Tantric Massage space is about getting out of the goal, not having to perform.

One of the conditions of sex, more often out of ego than anything else, is the pressure to have an orgasm.

As soon as this is in the mix, whether it’s implied or stated, there’s pressure.

As soon as the pressure is there her body, her being can’t respond based on how it’s feeling.

She can’t enjoy the beauty of the massage, wherever it goes.

An understanding of female sexuality that looks only at orgasm as the criterion for success is definitely lacking.

Deep and heightened pleasure states, orgasmic energy states that move through the entire body and being, do not always include orgasm.

When the pressure to perform is off, she can have the fullest possible experience.

Whatever that may be.

This takes us to the next aspect of the importance of Tantric Massage.

Being touched by somebody who knows bodies, how to touch, who understands energy, the slow build of the feminine sexual fire, the journey that begins with relaxation, gradually opening the pleasure channels, building the pleasure, the secrets of the U-Spot, The G-Spot, the A-spot…

For a man to be comfortable with his partner having this experience requires a mind shift, adopting a different perspective on sexuality, pleasure and relationships.

When the boundaries of the experience are clear, when the purpose of the massage is explained, when the benefit of the pleasure or healing are seen, change is possible.

Tantric Massage, as we understand it, is an expression of love. It’s making love. Not what we’ve taken that to mean, not an act of penetration. But if we look at the term ‘making love’, it means just that, the massage makes love, allows you to feel loved, feel beautiful, feel the Goddess you are.

What I’ve learnt is how much it gets to start with me and works outwards as I look at who I get to be with. I’ve also had the opportunity to get a whole lot of past complete, because like in any area, we make decisions and then live like that’s the truth and don’t go back to bringing nothing to create from. I have an inner confidence and self-assurance in the area of my sexuality and I now find myself to be self-expressed about what I want, and understanding and compassionate when being intimate. There’s a creative space now.

I couldn’t have asked for two more wonderful people to provide that access for me.

So if you are vaguely interested in exploring your sexuality at a deeper more conscious level, I highly recommend you attend one or more of their workshops.

Cape Town Workshop Programme

The Cape Town workshops will be at The Novalis Centre in Kenilworth.

We begin on Mon 16th July with a free talk on The Benefits of A Sexual Journey, 7pm, singles and couples

We’ll look at what these journey’s involve, the impact on your life, your relationship, work and friendships, what this offers singles and couples, what sexual healing is etc.

Tues 17 July: An Introduction to Tantra Evolution.

A gentle introduction to the principles of Tantra Evolution, our understanding of what Tantra is, how to incorporate Tantra into your life and relationships, how the principles of Evolutionary Tantra can help with sexual exploration, the difference between sex and sensuality, the connection between sex and spirituality.

The practical part of the workshop is gentle, clothed, the exercises can be done on your own or with a partner.

Wed 18 July: Expanded Orgasmic Wave.

This is a philosophy and technique that has amazing possibilities, which include how a woman can be in an orgasmic state for over an hour, even longer, how men can experience multiple orgasms and more.

This workshop gives you a new understanding of pleasure and includes some really important sexual ideas.

We begin with the difference between a ‘normal’ and Expanded Orgasm, the importance of getting out of the goal, sexual fears, how we’ve made sex about performance and the pressure this creates for men and women.

We look at how to make this experience happen for men and women, going step-by-step through the technique. This is demonstrated on latex models of the genitals, no nudity is involved.

It’s very rare we get taught about being good lovers, which is one of the most important skills in life. Nobody teaches us about our bodies, about our partner’s bodies, about what to do, how to do…

It’s not often that we have a non-judgemental space to ask questions, get open and honest answers.

That’s what this workshop is about.

And you create it with your questions and the topics you’d like to talk about.

We usually begin with oral sex techniques for men and women, something everyone’s interested in, look at positions, fantasies…Anything you like.

At the moment there is a great interest in anal play so we look at anal stimulation, how to enjoy anal activities…

More people than ever are exploring their sexuality, we talk about this, exploring with others, how to talk about these topics etc.

This is a talk workshop for singles and couples.

Sat 21 July: Tantric Sensual Massage.

11am – 4pm R2000 per couple

Sensual Massage is an art that offers hours of pleasure, deep connection, amazing intimacy, healing, communication, exploration, play, excitement…

This is a practical workshop for couples.

We talk for an hour about creating the space, where to massage, what to massage with, communication etc.

Then we move into the experience, beginning with an understanding of energy, creating an intention, connecting and Energy Massage.

The format is that we demonstrate, then you and your partner have time to enjoy that with each other.

We progress into Bliss Body Massage, Heart Touch and move deeper into the Massage.

We have developed a unique way of touching that’s a creative expression of how you feel rather than being bound by a technique. This teaches you how to touch with your entire body and open doors to a journey of literally endless pleasure.

A powerful aspect of this is The Sexual Fire, you learn to build and spread this energy in the body for a heightened state of pleasure.

This is an expression of love, of worship, of honouring the beauty of the Yoni and Lingam, the spiritual expression of sexual energy.

The workshop includes extensive information about our genitals, including Deep G-Spot Stimulation, The A-Spot, Female Ejaculation, Deep Uterine Orgasms, Non-Ejaculatory Orgasms for Men and more.

Tues 24 July: Conscious Self-Pleasuring.

Self-Pleasuring goes beyond masturbation, beyond playing with yourself.

This workshop gives you the tools to use your sexual energy in many ways. One of the principles of Eastern Sexual Energy practices is that our sexual energy is so powerful we can use it for more than ‘just sex’. We can use it for healing, for meditation, for manifestation, for creativity and more.

We go through the processes that show you how to build, access and move energy in different ways in your body.

These include movement, breath and sound.

We’re working with sexual energy, there’s no nudity, the workshop is for singles and couples.

The workshop is complete, and we’re adding an extension to the workshop that’s a practical experience of the energy.

This involves being guided through some of the self-pleasuring and energy while actively doing the techniques. Even though this is in a group, the lights are very low, you can keep your body covered.

Wed 25 July For Women Only Workshop.

An evening for women only, a space to talk freely, ask questions and share.

We look at issues such as: why faking it short circuits your pleasure process, sexpectations, sexual ego for men and women, sexual communication, sexual pressure on men, the things your man can’t tell you, whatever else you’d like to talk about…

Thurs 26 July: Your Sexual Matrix.

Accessing Your Inner Sexual World.

7pm, R350 per person, singles and couples

This is a journey into the power of your inner erotic landscape.

We talk about the difference between porn and eroticism, the messages of porn, sensuality, the impact they have on our lives, relationships and sexual expression, the power of fantasy, acceptable and taboo, how important context is etc.

We include looking at images, reading some erotic pieces and our reaction to them. This opens the door to getting in touch with your own creativity and writing a piece of erotic expression.

We spend this evening in a small bistro with some delicious coffee, liqueurs and desserts.
