The Pleasure We Fear

Last year at Sexpo we did a mild 50 Shades bondage demo. The women who offered to be models for this came from a wide range of backgrounds, relationships and sexual experiences.
As part of the preparation for the experience I asked all of them what scared them most about it.
They all said the same thing.
They were scared they were going to enjoy it.
As part of the healing journey with men it’s important that I share some bodywork experiences with them.
This creates a deep discomfort for them, particularly when it comes to some of the pleasure-based experiences.
There is a fear they’re going to enjoy it.
Many people are terrified of many of the pleasure experiences.
We’re scared we’re going to enjoy them.
We’re scared of our passion.
We’re scared of our vitality.
We’re scared of our pleasure.
We’re scared of the fire that rages within us.
We’re scared of going beyond what we believe.
We’re scared of revealing ourselves.
We’re scared of seeing deep into ourselves, and into others.
We’re scared of pleasure.
We’re scared of where it may take us.
We’re scared of its power.
Because we know its linked to our soul.
For generations, hundreds of years, we’ve lived with repression.
We’ve been taught that that’s the way to live.
That our power is in pushing our desires down, suppressing, repressing, hiding, darkening, judging…
And the more we do this, the more we separate from our soul.
For our soul, the soul that links us to God, The Goddess, Source, Spirit…
This soul is a soul of celebration, of joy, of creation, of happiness, of laughter, of shimmering beauty and the expression of every aspect, the manifestation in our lives of this energy.
Our world is a testimony to the mediocrity and the repression that that represents.
We see it in our lives, our relationships, our wars, our poverty, our leaders, our entertainment, lack of creativity, our art…
But this soul, this soul, this scared energy that dwells somewhere within us, around us, this soul longs for expression.
And when we allow this soul out it can turn our lives, our world upside down.
Because it brings up the question ‘Where is our love, where is our joy?’
We come face to face with this in a very real way. Not as an ethereal, quasi-spiritual shoowah question.
But in this reality we wake up in every day, this reality we are creating, co-creating.
There are many possible expressions of this joy and celebration in our lives, many ways for the soul to shine through, to show itself in our lives, to bring its vibration into the world.
We’ve chosen the path of sensuality, of sexual energy, of Conscious Pleasure.
We have to go beyond our fears for this.
We have to go beyond our judgements for this.
We have to go beyond our limitations for this.
We have to go to a place where our soul is.
And our bodies, designed in the image of, a representation of, are a doorway to the soul.
Sensuousness, Sensual Energy is a language of the soul.
I invite you to stop fearing your soul.
I invite you to stop fearing who you are.
I invite you to stop fearing pleasure.
It’s important to know this.
There’s a purpose to this pleasure.
There’s a purpose to this soul stuff.
Every time we allow an experience beyond our limitations.
Every time we push a boundary that allows us to see more, be more, feel more than the narrow vision we generally hold, every time we do this, we put something out into the world.
We put a possibility out.
We put an invitation out.
We put an actual energy out.
We change a frequency.
This makes it possible for somebody else to experience this.
Maybe not what exactly the experience we had.
But something that is pleasurable.
And pleasure has greater transformational power than anything other force.
And even if you have no belief or interest in the transformational power and possibility, just for a moment have a belief in your own soul.
And its desire to talk to you, to live in you, to live through you.
And allow yourself to live with less fear, more pleasure, more happiness, more joy, more love, more celebration…
One of the most gratifying things for me, and something I appreciate enormously, is hearing how many people enjoy these newsletters.

The Vision Quest I did earlier this year initiated a time of personal healing for me, as well as a deeper understanding and learning. This has allowed the healing work, and workshops to go to new places of power. It is so beautiful to share this with you and see how we can change the things we’d like.
Sharing with is always special for me. Sexuality is the part of life that is generally scariest and most closed for men. I was invited to give a talk to a group of men this week, which began in the way most of the men’s gathering do. Almost everybody sitting with arms folded, legs crossed, stern-faced and silent.
Almost everybody thawed and we had a really good time.
More and more men, alone or with their partners, are coming to learn, heal and grow. These are the real men, the strong ones.
I am honoured to share with you.
So many people contact us about exploring aspects of their sexuality, fantasies, expanding what they do, having more excitement in their relationships and lives.
Having a framework for this, a way to open the communication and discussion, as well as some how-to knowledge can change these experiences from being scary and negative to expansion and a deepening of your relationship.

Touch this body in prayer

A place beyond you

We see that this physical casing is merely a portal

And then they are no more as the wave of pleasure engulfs us, wraps us in sensation, in emotion, in a moment of being that lasts an eternity, takes us into the swirling space where the Divine dances

Slowly we return

Slowly we feel our breath

Slowly we feel the weight of being

Lighter now

For every visit to that Sacred Temple of Pleasure leaves its shimmering within us

For this is sacred ground

 

In the world of Conscious Sexuality we regard certain touch and massage experiences as being acts of worship.
We use the words massage and touch simply because we have no others, but these experiences go way beyond the general understanding and experience of massage.

Going beyond even that I’d like to offer a different perspective and possibility with Conscious Sensual Touch, Conscious Pleasure Energy, Conscious Sexual Touch etc.

We’ll use the word massage because it’s the closest we have.

Generally we see the roles of giver and receiver being quite set in this space.
And generally there is way more pleasure for the person receiving the massage.

Let’s change something here.
There is a way of touching that is worshipping.
So the question is who is worshipping?
If I’m the person giving the massage, then it’s me.

And I can use that space, that touch as a way for it become a sacred experience, a spiritual experience, a meditation for me.

Of course there’s enormous benefit in this for the person receiving the massage.

And there’s so much for me.

When I enter the space in this way, with the intention of connecting with something higher, something beyond me, of allowing it to be transcendent for me, a shift happens.
 A deep shift in awareness.
 An opening of a space within me, an acknowledgement of the energy coming through me.
Where is this coming from?
Source, Spirit, The Universe, God, The Goddess…

I come to you to pray.
For that is the manifestation of the energy, the coming into being of the intention.
You, your body, your being becomes the altar, the recipient of my prayer.
I open myself, elevate myself, connect myself.
And in so doing, I am able to offer you more.
And the more I can be open, the more I can be vulnerable, the more I have to offer you.
My body, my hands become a vessel for this holy energy.
And as it flows through me, it touches me, heals me, calms me, relaxes me, arouses me.
As it flows through me to you.
This becomes a temple that we create, a space that we weave filled with love, with giving, receiving, sharing…

This brings up a beautifully different perspective on healing as well.
We generally heal to receive more.
Here, we heal to give more.
Releasing my pain, my blockages, my resistances, my withholds for the purpose of allowing more to flow through me.
And going beyond that to the knowing that the purpose of more flowing through me allows me to give more.
Which allows you to receive more.
And going beyond even that.
It allows me, in that space, to go deeper into myself.
To make my prayer, my meditation, my giving more.

And in the giving is the receiving.
Not in the way we mostly see that, that it’s good to give.
But there’s a sacred intention.
And I have to be open to receive before I can give, truly give.
Anybody can do massage, anybody can do healing.
This is becoming, becoming massage, becoming touch, becoming healing, becoming conscious, becoming awake, becoming aware, becoming connected, becoming love.

And the in the giving is the receiving.

The free talks have been wonderful, we’re really looking forward to the next one.
The evening at Pharaohs on Exploring Sexuality was a great success, we’re doing it again.

The Culture of Pleasure, The Language of Pleasure

Over the past year we’ve had the privilege of working with people from many different backgrounds and cultures.
This covers a spectrum of religion, race, nation and belief.

The more time we spend with different people, the more we see the universality of connection.
And the principles of Conscious Sexuality are proving to be quite universal.
There’s also a language and culture that we all speak.
What’s closer to the truth is that we wish we were talking this language, wish we were immersed in this culture.

Two conversations I had this week with people we’re working with really brought this home to me.
And they were with very diverse people, one a black couple, the other a 60yr old woman on a beautiful journey of discovery and growth.

The first conversation revolved around the fact that so few cultures have pleasure as an integral part of their expression.
The second was about the language of pleasure.
We have very limited language to talk about pleasure, never mind to express the subtleties and nuances of different states of sensual delights and heightened sexuality.

First let’s look at what pleasure means.
Our context is that of sensuality and sexuality.
The extension of this, and the conversations I had, as well as many others over the years, is that the more we open ourselves to pleasure in this way, the more we open ourselves to pleasure in every aspect of our lives.

We live in a world where pain on so many levels pervades our being. It surrounds us, the media fills our space and senses with pain.
We also live in a world where we do so many things to dull us from feeling.
And as we dull the pain we dull the pleasure.
It’s not a semi-permeable that let’s somethings through and not others.
And as much as dulling our senses, we happily live in a world that encourages mediocrity and conformity.

If we’d like to open ourselves to greater pleasure we have to learn a new language, we have to be willing to adopt a new culture.
If you look at how much of the language we use is about limitation, about contraction, about
how something good can’t last, about how much of a good thing you can have…
This is not limited to sex.
This is for all of life.

For most of us, sex happens in a vacuum.
It’s not linked to any other aspect of our lives.
When we start to open to pleasure, we start to open to possibility.
First, our sexual pleasure increases, radically.
Opening to pleasure means just that, opening to pleasure. Not just to having an orgasm, but to pleasure.
We make a mind-shift.

And from this we start to drift into Socrates’ territory, the unexamined life is not worth living.
We look at what we want from life, from experiences, from relationships.
And we hopefully start to ask important questions, how much pleasure will we allow ourselves, give ourselves permission to have, and how happy are we willing to be?

These are dangerous questions.
They’ll challenge us, they’ll bring us face to face with ourselves, with the choices and decisions we’ve made, with who we’ve become, with what we’ve allowed into our lives.
If we’re willing to be honest.
And if we choose, consciously choose, we can start to change something, slowly, quickly…
We can allow for more pleasure, more happiness, more fun, more joy, more celebration.

Sexual Energy is a beautiful teacher of this new language, of this new culture.
It raises our energy, our vibration.
It makes us happier, we feel more alive, more creative, more connected, more open, more expansive, more attractive.
Some important words there.
More attractive. Not only in a physical sense, not only liking ourselves more, but more attractive to what life has to offer, to people, to experiences.
And if our attraction is filled with more of the shining radiance of pleasure, that’s what we will attract more of.
Then we’re more open to receive, and because we’re more expansive, the array of possibilities increase.

You see, it’s all about energy.
The more Conscious Pleasure Energy, (CPE), within you, the more CPE you put out, the more CPE you receive.
You raise your vibration, things shift.
Because our lives, our world, are but reflections of what’s within us.
As we change the language with which we talk to ourselves, we change the language of our lives, we change our culture.

We’d love to teach you some new words, help you have some new experiences, see a little more of the beautiful being you are.

The Sacred Sexual Massage evening was just SO beautiful. The intimacy and pleasure that everyone there experienced was an absolute gift. As one of the women said a few days later, ‘I never knew I was capable of such pleasure, never knew this stuff existed, thank you with a big fat kiss’. And to hear a man with a big smile say, ‘That was NICE!!!’.

Beyond Orgasm

Out beyond orgasm is a field of possibility.

This is space where there is no limit to emotion, to sensation, to feeling.

It’s a place of magic.

It’s a place where the essence of being swirls, where we can experience our true selves.

 

It’s out beyond orgasm.

To get there we have to go beyond orgasm.

 

For most of us, men much more so than women, this requires a BIG shift.

It’s one of the most important principles of Conscious Sexuality and has the key to so much.

Firstly it’s a path to expanded states of pleasure, then it’s a tool for accessing and using sexual energy for meditation, for healing, for growth, for self-exploration, for transformation, for higher states of consciousness and more.

 

Very often when we do yoni massage we deliberately don’t have the goal of orgasm in mind.

At first this is often confusing. You’ve come to have a yoni massage, to experience the pleasure, there’s all the expectation of this huge orgasm.

You can have orgasms, plenty. Annie has identified 13 different orgasms for women.

But there’s more.

So we suggest that you be willing to have a different experience.

To go beyond orgasm.

 

Now when men come to have a lingam or Taoist massage we suggest the same thing.

Allow yourself to experience something different, allow your sexual energy to expand, to take you some where you’ve never been before.

Because there are many different states of pleasure available to men.

And to experience these you need to go beyond orgasm.

 

Let’s look at why this is so difficult, and sometimes challenging an idea.

 

The first reason is that we’ve made the definition of successful sex orgasm.

The true definition of successful sex is pleasure.

And the paths of pleasure are many.

Next is the pattern, particularly for men. As a man every time you’ve had a sexual experience, from the time you started touching yourself, you’ve had an orgasm. So you think that’s the way it should be.

Then there’s the wonderful ego idea of ‘I have to make her come’. A wonderfully destructive belief that the media have helped along with gusto.

And then there’s the possibility that most of us just don’t know any different, we have no idea what else is out there, or how to access it.

And so we get stuck in orgasm being all there is.

 

If we’re willing to allow the idea in that there’s more we can open ourselves to worlds of pleasure, sensation, emotion and possibility so vast they probably are without limitation.

 

In pleasure terms, if we’re willing to go beyond the orgasm barrier, and it is often a barrier to these higher states, we open firstly our entire body to pleasure.

It simply has to happen.

Instead of feeling the sensations purely in our pelvis, they spread through the whole body, everywhere tingles, vibrates, oscillates, shouts, screams, sings with Oh Yes Yes Yes!

And just wants to stay there. And have more.

Which it can.

In this space we start to experience different kinds of pleasure, so much, subtle, gentle, overwhelming…it’s all there.

And it’s always different.

 

This gives us an understanding of sexual energy. Which we can only have through experience. We can talk about sexual energy forever. Until we’ve experienced it we have no idea of what it is.

 

As the energy moves through us we start to experience different things, different feelings, emotions, sensations…

It takes us places, physically, emotionally, sensually, spiritually…

We simply have to be there, to allow it.

 

If we choose to learn a little about this energy and its ways we can access it, direct it, guide it, allow it to guide us.

It opens worlds within worlds.

 

But first we have to be willing to go beyond orgasm…

 

 

Understanding the energy of going beyond orgasm is something we teach in many workshops. It’s an important aspect of the Sacred Sexual Massage workshop on Thurs night. This is a beautiful evening for couples, filled with intimacy and pleasure and techniques for going beyond.

Renewed Commitment, Renewed Passion

 

For the first time since I began this work I was able to take some time to do something purely for myself.

This is thanks to Annie, a Goddess Becoming, thank you, my love, for making this possible.

 

I had the privilege of participating in a Vision Quest with Valerie Morris and Judy Bekker in Cape Town. Have a look at their website,rbanet.co.za.

This was an experience of deep connection with myself, with nature and others. It was a time of extraordinary beauty, learning, sharing and growing.

Their guidance and facilitation simply enfold you in a world of possibility.

This is a life changing experience, if you can…

 

I come back from this time with so much.

With greater understanding of this work, of masculine and feminine energies, of relationship patterns and possibilities, of energy flow, of the connection and context of our sexuality to the rest of our lives, so much about healing and growth, what spiritual sexuality is and more.

 

I come back from this time with a renewed commitment to you and to myself.

 

I come back from this time with an increase in my energy, a new depth to my touch, a new connection to my intuition and a renewed understanding of knowing that for me, this work is an expression of love.

Making Mistakes

 

Why do we find it so hard to forgive in relationships? 

So hard to let go of being right?

So hard to let go of  being wronged?

 

Lessons are learned in so many ways in our lives, and so often when we make a mistake, a decision that doesn’t serve us, a decision based in fear or anxiety, we travel to a place that is not our true selves.

 

Yet that place can transform us.

 

If we let it.

 

In the beginning of my Tantric journey, I had an experience that I really felt uncomfortable with. 

And for years that experience lived with me as a “mistake”.

 

Until recently.

 

I realized how that experience had taught me so much about what not to do with my clients, how to create safety for them in the healing and release space, how to respect others’ boundaries even when they can’t speak them, and how to go slowly with this work.

 

How to be gentle.

 

If I’ve learned anything from Jonti, it’s that gentle works deeper, more profoundly, sometimes more slowly, yet with lasting impact.

 

And what I’ve learned recently is to communicate verbally in the same way, with gentleness. That calm truth brings incredibly deep lasting effects too.

 

Although I have never struggled to communicate (talking and sharing has always been an easy space for me)  to communicate my really deep fears, wishes, boundaries and desires is often to be so emotionally overwhelmed that I express everything from a place of fear and cease to care about the consequences. 

 

That’s not gentle.

And it doesn’t work.

 

Most real and truthful communication is difficult, because its not what we’re taught, not what we’ve had much experience of.

 

Real sexual communication is on an even deeper level.

When we can’t communicate lovingly about our deepest selves, our sexual selves, it’s almost impossible to be truthful in other communication.

 

During a breath workshop a while ago, the teacher said something that really stuck with me.

He said that the most destructive lies we ever tell are those that are to “protect someone’s feelings” 

I thought about that a lot. Because it’s really true. We anticipate hurting someone’s feelings by expressing some aspect of ourselves, so we lie. 

We see it as protecting others, when actually it’s destructive for ourselves and others.

 

We think we know how they are going to react, we base that on the past, whether that’s past relationships, or even past communications with that particular person, and we take responsibility for another’s emotions by changing our truth.

 

We’ve all done it, those lies when we don’t really want to see someone, or we’re too tired to face family, or…..

Well. We’ve all done it.

 

And sometimes we would rather lie than tell the truth because we’re afraid of an emotional reaction, an ego sleight.

 

The truth is no matter what we think, we are not responsible for how someone chooses to feel in any given situation.

 

I’m not talking about someone being deliberately cruel to hurt another, I’m talking about the times we are afraid to speak our truth “in case” it hurts someone’s feelings, or brings up emotion for them. The times when we lie because we are afraid of the response our truth may invoke.

 

So, we make mistakes in our relationships, we tell a little lie, we omit to share, we fake orgasm, we have mediocre sex, when we could be telling the truth and going deeper into who we really are, where our relationships can actually go with truth and support. 

 

We make mistakes.

 

What I have learned is that the truth spoken in love, calmly, always has a more long term beneficial effect.

 

The mistakes I have made are nearly always based upon being emotionally overwrought and making decisions in that space.

 

And the lies I’ve told have nearly always been about “protecting” someone’s feelings, or to avoid their perceived anger.

 

So, I’m going back to square one, to the root, learning who I am sexually, what I really want from my relationships, and how to really communicate about that, allowing for change, for letting go of old patterns of communication.

 

Taking this awareness into all relationship, asking for what I would like, being specific, and being ready to honestly accept someone else’s response, whatever that may be.

 

It’s never too late to acknowledge your mistakes as your teachers, letting them guide you into a different way to do things.

 

So, I will embrace my mistakes, my teachers.

 

I will forgive the mistakes I have made in my relationships.

 

I will let them go, and thank them as the bittersweet teachers that they are…

 

I am missing Jonti so much already. As this newsletter goes out he will be in the very centre of his Vision Quest in Cape Town, spending four days in the wilderness with 20 litres of water, having an experience, a vision, and certainly a Quest!

The Sexpo Tour

The wonders of technology allow us to write this on the way to Cape Town. we are going to be there for Sexpo, for a week of workshops and a 10 day Vision Quest that Jonti’s going to do.

 

We undertake this journey with a sense of celebration on many levels, the past week in our life of conscious sexuality has been a beautiful celebration of pleasure, energy and of possibility. We’ve shared space with women of over 60 embarking on journeys of self and sexual discovery. This is so exciting for us as it affirms that this journey is for everyone, that there are no rules to possibility, the beauty and the power in these women fills us with honour as they choose to share with us. We’ve also shared space with somebody in a wheelchair who has such a sense of life and of joy, that the time with him and his partner truly was a celebration and an affirmation of possibility.

 

The workshop on Thursday night of sexual exploration was honest, powerful and filled with laughter. As we spent time talking, people became more and more open in a space of sharing and safety. In this forum, doors open for people, there is excitement, there is tingling inside, an expansion of what can be in a relationship.

 

Sexpo opens on Thursday in Cape Town, and it is a celebration of sexuality. There’s a lot there that’s loud and plastic and garish, but the fact that we can share this openly is what’s important. We are doing talks everyday as well as massage demonstrations, we look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

 

The workshops we are offering in the week after Sexpo are very much a celebration of pleasure as they open hearts, minds and bodies to the power of conscious sexuality.

13 Orgasms

In a talk recently on conscious sexuality, I shared with the group that I personally have identified 12 separate, identifiable orgasmic experiences in my body.

My orgasmic background until the age of 38 was incredibly limited. As I have shared my story with many woman that walk through our doors at Tantra Evolution, I have noticed the parallels that have emerged, patterns that run throughout our lives, not just sexually, in every arena from relationships to parenting to career choices.

My partner Jonti, once said in a workshop that the way we are sexually is the way we are in our entire lives.

At the time I disagreed vehemently.

Until I really, really thought about it.

And the pieces fitted. I had faked orgasm with everyone until I was 38 years old, keeping other people’s egos and pride happy, suppressing my own real pleasure response. I had only experienced clitoral orgasm through toys, shower heads and extremes of temperature.

I had no idea how powerful my sexual response could be, how much pleasure I was truly capable of.

Then I looked at my life.

I had done exactly the same thing. In my career I had made many decisions that involved avoiding anger, having the response that served another’s expectation, not my desire.

 

And I could have been with the most skilled lover in the world and still done exactly the same things, because it was all I knew.

 

In childhood, many of us learn how to survive. Those patterns are the ones that are so deep that we often cannot even recognize them until they come into awareness.

 

I learned that people liked you more if you gave them what they wanted.

I learned that men liked you a lot if you fulfilled their fantasies.

I learned there was less pressure at work if you hid the fact that you were really talented, never out shining anyone around you.

 

And I learned to say yes and suppress.

 

The way I was sexually, was my core patterning.

 

I had to repattern my responses to begin not just manifesting more orgasms, more pleasure, but to free myself from the belief system I had used to survive.

 

Sexual energy was my key to awareness.

 

This is the energy we use in our healing work, combined with what we term as “The Heart Touch”.

 

So much of what we do is about healing. 

 

Yet the really exciting work is what happens after that, when people realize its about their entire lives, the patterns that are limiting them, the choices they make that are not about serving their passion, their highest excitement, with awareness and love.

 

That’s what happened for me. I had my first real orgasm with myself, for myself, by myself.

 

A creative flood ensued, and a move into the field of what Jonti and I have termed “Conscious Sexuality”

 

Have I changed sexually? Yes. As I was listing the 12 orgasms I had a huge realization.

There were now 13. My pleasure possibilities with my sexual energy repatterning had gone beyond! 

 

I’m talking about energy not just having sex.

 

Energy that can be tapped into, meditated into, breathed into, made love into, written into..

So many expressions of creativity and sexual energy.

 

I have learned to say “No” authentically. To say “No” for me. To say “No” to things that at that moment are not ok for me. I say this with a beating heart, often huge fear, and amazing relief that the world doesn’t actually implode!

 

The beautiful repatterning is that

when I say “Yes” now, I mean it, body, mind and soul.

 

My life is orgasmic. My life has gone beyond 12 orgasms

 

And it all started with 1 orgasm….

Why vibrators short circuit your power as a woman.

 

As Tantric therapists and practitioners, the two main sexual issues Annie hears from women are “Without a vibrator, there’s no real guarantee of pleasure for me” and “He doesn’t know how to touch me”

 

We have come to understand, as a generalization these are two important reasons that women become less interested in having sex.

 

As with most things in life, if there’s nothing really in it for you, eventually the desire will fade, sex becomes a chore, something for his pleasure.

 

When this happens, women fall into the sexual patterning of only making love/having sex when they are:

A: Really loving, craving intimacy

B: Really aroused.

Also, seeing as how a women can have a “knee jerk/starburst” orgasm from a good vibrator pretty much anytime they like (providing the kids are occupied, they can find a private space, and have a little time) for a lot of women, there’s even less reason to actually have sex unless A or B or both are in place!!

 

This is the reality of sex for most women in long term relationships

 

The other reality is, although most women are loathe to admit this to their partners, at some point or another most women will fake orgasm in order not to hurt their partners feelings.

 

The reasons for this?

Firstly, at some points in their hormonal cycle women just can’t “get there”, they can get close, they can be in an expanded state of pleasure, but for some reasons, within their bodies, chemically, energetically, they can’t reach clitoral orgasm.

 

What most men do not know is that most woman are actually quite fine with this.

 

If women feel pleasured and intimate and loving, orgasm is not all that important, it’s an added highlight, not a goal.

 

This is such an important statement, as it goes against everything men are “taught” about being good lovers, by society.

Men are under the illusion that if their partners don’t have an orgasm, they haven’t done it right! This is SO deeply ingrained into our sexual culture, reinforced with pornography (where women have “orgasms” in all of 30 seconds) by mainstream media, with the headlines “Give her the best Orgasm!” “How to get your partner to have Multiple Orgasms!” “How to give her a G-Spot Orgasm”

 

And beyond that, the general societal consensus that a good lover always pleasures his woman to an orgasm first, before having an orgasm himself.

 

This puts huge pressure on women to have an orgasm, instead of relaxing and enjoying the pleasure space of making love/having sex.

 

So, with all this pressure for men to know enough to give you an orgasm, and women to be having these huge orgasmic experiences, what happens to the orgasm?

 

Some of the time, the orgasmic response in women will disappear.

 

Not completely, but if as a women you are receiving the same technique, in exactly the same way every time you have sex, the orgasmic response is bound to not happen from time to time.

 

And if there’s pressure for you to have an orgasm before he feels like it’s ok have sex with you, the orgasmic response sometimes moves even further away

 

And then, frustration.

 

This is where the issue is with vibrators, for often the only real guarantee of orgasm comes from using them, for in a sense they can “force” orgasm.

 

This is where the danger point is, the short circuit.

 

Your body then re-patterns to expect only quick, very contractive orgasm, and after a while, this becomes the only orgasm method your body recognizes.

 

Now, don’t for one minute think we advocate a vibrator-less life.

Absolutely not!

Yet if the only sexual pleasure/orgasm you are receiving as a woman is through the use of a vibrator, you are short – circuiting your pleasure response.

 

Why?

 

Firstly, the female body is capable and equipped for having at least 6 different types of physical orgasm, Clitoral, G-Spot, A-Spot, Ejaculatory, Expanded and Blended.

 

So, with 6 different types of physical orgasm to start with, the question is, how short-circuited is the pleasure response when you are only having one orgasm, the limited, contractive type?

 

For as you know, as a women, with a vibrator, there comes a point when your body is done, finished, it’s had enough orgasms.

 

Secondly, the vibrator orgasmic response can be VERY, VERY FAST. There will be times that this is exactly what your body needs and craves, but if this is the only orgasmic response you are having, anything that takes a little more time is lost, the clitoris becomes desensitized and used to very intense vibration, the body  becomes addicted to the chemical rush released with this quick orgasm.

 

All orgasms are not created equal.

 

This does not mean that one is better than the other, just that if you are not having all of the orgasmic and pleasure response available to you as a woman you are short – circuiting your body, physically, hormonally, sensually…

 

You are feeding an appetite in your body as quickly as possible to feel satisfied.

And you are missing out on so much pleasure that your body is capable of.

 

Women have 8000 nerve endings in the clitoris alone. That’s not including the rest of the vagina, not including the A-Spot, the G-Spot, clitoral branch nerves…

 

Tantric practices involve the recycling of energy in the body, without expending it everytime. When this technique is taught to men, when a man learns to have a full orgasm without ejaculating, it changes his life, because it changes his understanding of pleasure orgasmic space versus contractive orgasm.

 

They are not mutually exclusive, yet pleasure can be extended, re – energizing the body, not expending it.

 

It’s the same for women

 

When it becomes about pleasure, extended pleasure, expanded pleasure, sensual energy flooding your body, a whole lot changes within your bodies’ energy patterning. Your body is re- energized, energy can flow…

 

You are tapping into your full potential energetically as a human being equipped with sexual energy.

 

Here’s the catch.

The re – patterning of your bodies’ sexual response takes a little time, a little learning, and a commitment to pleasure.

(Involved in that is a simple technique to use a vibrator that can extend a vibrator orgasm into 5 or 6 times as long….)

 

Here’s the good news about the catch

You can learn these techniques on your own, or with a partner. So, whether you are in a relationship or not, this increase in pleasure is easily learned, with a little commitment and practise, all 6 orgasms can be experienced by a woman…

Fixing a Relationship
I had an interesting thought recently.
You can’t fix a relationship.
You can change something in yourself.
You can become aware of your patterns, the things you do.
You can become aware of the impact of what you do.
You can become conscious of how you communicate, how you perceive things, the beliefs you hold and how they manifest.
Without this, all that we do in a relationship will not change.
We’ll keep bringing the same patterns to our space.
We may learn new things.
But we’ll go back to what we know, it’s like a default setting.
And we don’t have much choice in it.
The only thing we can do, the only way we can change anything in a relationship, the only way we can ‘fix’ anything, is to move something within ourselves.
This puts a very different perspective on relationships.
And it no longer makes it about ‘what they do’.
Obviously there are 2 people in a relationship.
And this perspective means taking responsibility for ourselves.
My relationship is my responsibility.
If I don’t heal my stuff, look at my patterns, words and actions, I can’t bring anything different to the space and what’s between us.
Therefore there can’t be a change.
The expectation that many people have is that something external can heal their relationship.
And, in truth, most people looking for healing are looking for some magic formula that’s going to do it for them, wave the wand, abracadabra, it’s done.
And much out there in the world promises that.
Some of it even delivers.
For a short time.
It can’t do anything else.
And we go back to where we were.
We have to.
But when something within us shifts, when we heal, when we release, when we become more aware of who we are, of what we do, of why, when our consciousness expands.
Then we change.
Then, and only then, what’s between us, can change.
I am my relationship.
I am my life.
I make choices from where I am, from what I know.
As I know more, my relationship can expand.
My life can expand.
This is a conscious choice.
And it’s not an easy choice.
It’s not rainbows and white doves.
It takes us into the depths of ourselves, who we are, what we’ve done, what we do.
And who we can be, what we can do.
It can take us to a space of incredible knowing.
It can take us to a space of deep sharing and communication.
It can take us to a space of exposed vulnerability, in a way that is powerful rather than weak.
It can take us beyond the veils of illusion to a space of greater truth.
It can take us to space of growing congruity between our inner and outer worlds.
It can take us to a space where our relationships, and by extension, our lives, are an endless journey, an adventure worthy of the power and strength of the highest we are.
And it can take us to a space of unfolding possibility, beyond what we can see now, beyond what we can conceive, to magnificence, to a knowing of love with a capital L.
Which is so far from what we thought it was…
